Preserving much loved landmarks such as Pease Bridge in the Scottish Borders involved us in repointing and rebuilding spandrel and parapet walls - complex and specialist repairs to maintain the integrity of the original stonework. A sympathetic approach is also evident in our streetscape upgrades to Market Square Melrose, integrating the old with the new. Still in the Borders, we were delighted to learn that a new road constructed by SBc Contracts, part of the A698 Kelso bypass, received a prestigious Saltire Award.
