Since 1985, the client's Cowieslinn Quarry at Eddleston near Peebles has produced and supplied aggregates, cement and concrete to organisations across the UK and overseas. Access to and from the Quarry is essential in keeping its business on the move. The construction of a new road into the Quarry, including the installation of a semi-circular multiplate arch over a waterarch, represented a key development in improving the infrastructure of the Quarry and the supply of essential materials to the building industry.
